Is the pressure taking its tole on this tartan talent?
She's had a few flare ups and invoked the f-bomb a few times in public and has had a pack of paparrazi on her tail since bursting on to the scene with her moving solo on "Britain's Got Talent."
Now her handlers have holed her up in an undisclosed location far from the other contestants to focus on her health and well-being, People magazine reports. She allegedly packed up and planned to quit as of Wednesday.
"BGT" judge Piers Morgan wrote on his blog: "Susan is finding it very difficult to cope, and to stay calm. She has been in tears many times during the last few days, and even felt like quitting altogether and fleeing all the attention."
Her spokesperson came out swinging at negative reports.
"She has not been axed, she has not quit, she is looking forward to performing," says show spokeswoman Sara Lee. "She's fine today, she's in good spirits. She is dealing with the competition perfectly well – it's the external factors that are the problem."
She's had quite a time of it, with her You Tube video receiving 286 million hits since her first performance of the difficult to sing "I Dreamed a Dream" on the hit British show.
