Scott Coffman is an Iowa native who grew up in Winterset, Iowa following the Iowa Hawkeyes. His favorite sports memory was watching Iowa make it to the men's basketball Final Four in 1980 until he was able to work three Final Fours himself as a freelancer. Scott saw UCLA down Arkansas 89-78 in the 1995 NCAA title game in Seattle, Washington, watched Kentucky come from behind to beat Utah 78-69 in the 1998 men's championship in San Antonio, Texas, and was there in St. Petersburg, Florida when Connecticut downed Duke 77-74 in one of the most memorable title games ever in 1999. Scott earned his bachelor's degree in social science from Boise State University in 1992 and currently resides in East Norriton, PA where he follows Philadelphia sports on a daily basis.
