Pirates of the Caribbean coming to the PC in 2010

Disney today announced the development of Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned.

Armada of the Damned -- developed by Propaganda Studios, the creators of Turok -- will be an action RPG set prior to the events of the movies. You'll take the role of a rookie pirate and embark on epic land and sea adventures in a massive, open-world adventure.

Numerous moral and character choices will need to be made that affect their character and your original story within the world. You'll explore a massive open world, fight enemies, mystical creatures and Mother Nature. Along the way you'll be forced to make various moral choices that can affect your character and his/her story in the world.

Armada of the Damned is scheduled to be released in Fall 2010 for next-generation consoles and Windows PC.

Lets hope it's as good or better than the previous Pirates game. Not the one based off of the latest movie.. rather the remake of SeaDogs with Pirates name pinned on it.
