St. John's Public Library, Ponte Vedra Branch, is the location of teens giving back to their community and reading to children of ages birth through fifth grade and the date is Saturday, May 8th from 10am-12pm.  The teens of Ponte Vedra High School's Book Club are eager to share books with you! Bring a pillow or stuffed animal to snuggle with, if you wish, and bring your favorite books or choose some from our library's shelves.

Teenagers today can be a challenge and parents encouraging them to be involved in helping others and giving back to their community is an excellent way to build their self esteem to make better choices in life.

The address for the Ponte Vedra Branch is 101 Library Blvd, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082 or call for more information at 273-3990.

In 2009 I wrote about teens that inspire.  It was one of the most read articles and hopefully inspired other kids to start making a difference in a positive direction.  One of the teens that was features was from the North Florida area, Danielle Herb.  At only 16 years old, she works with children with ADD/ADHD and Autism through her organization she formed with her mother, Drop Your Reins.  She is considered the Horse Listener.

Help your teen find their passion in life.  All children need inspiration, they need direction.  Encouraging them to get involved in making a difference in lives can only enhance their future.
