Rhonda Talbot has spent the last 15 developing feature films and setting up Hollywood co-productions for some of the largest film entities in Europe, including Pathe, Tobis,Gaumont,Canal Plus, Retatalia and Telepool. While heading up their operations in Los Angeles, she pre-bought, packaged and/or acquired dozens of studio and independent features; for exhibition in the U.K., Germany, France and Italy, as well as developed properties with writers, producers and directors. Some of the motion pictures she was involved in include Wedding Planner, Virgin Suicides, Memento, Blair Witch, Hotel Rwanda, Prime, The Hannibal Films, Monsters Ball, Brokeback Mountain and Crash, Drive. In addition, she has developed her own projects, both for television and film, including an MTV half hour film Out of Control (Nick Stahl, Jeremy Sisto) that was selected to compete in the Sundance Film Festival. She has a number of screenplays and teleplays under option. She also published a, Halfway Decent Girl in 2003 which was optioned and Talbot is developing into a screenplay. One of her short stories, Revenge Baby, was sold to St. Martin’s, released February 2009, for their anthology What Was I Thinking. She is currently rewriting her 2nd book, a memoir. In addition, she performs some of her short stories at a various comedic venues in Los Angeles, including, Sit&Spin, Rogue Theater, Word Gallery, Largo’s comedy night, among others. A number of her stories, and articles have been sold to magazines, including More, Positive, Salon and The Huffington Post. She is a regular contributor to Mommybloggersclub, Divine Caroline, She Writes and Amanda de Cadanet's Community. Talbot was also rated a Top Mommy Blogger (TMB.) Talbot also has been acting as a consultant to numerous productions companies, putting together film proposals for investors, guiding them through script consulting, to budget to finished proposal.
