Yummmm headless peeps!
Have left over peeps? Then turn them into a cool rice krispie treat that kids will enjoy both making and eating. And if you don’t have left over peeps pick some up at half off after Easter.
Floating Heads Peep-Rice Krispie Treats
Rice Krispies
butter
20-24 peeps
Slice the heads off of the bunny and/or chick peeps and set aside
Make the normal rice krispie recipe substituting the peeps bodies for the marshmallows.
Pour mixture into your choice of pan and pat down.
While still warm, place the heads evenly spaced into the mixture so everyone gets a head
Cool before serving.
