Miley Cyrus from a Hannah Montana episode
What in the world is going on? It seems that I can’t get away from Miley Cyrus in her underwear! One picture was a leak but now we have a flood of pictures and headlines from Miley Cyrus bares all to Hannah Montana posing in her underwear to more racy Miley Cyrus photos! And yet, they are all little cell phone shots she appears to have taken herself. Are these really worth the attention they are bringing?
If it weren’t for the fact that so many of us have daughters and grand-daughters that idolize Hannah Montana and/or Miley Cyrus I’d say no. But, the truth is that when you have 6 and 7 year olds thinking she is “the greatest person, ever” we have a right to be a bit concerned. It is true that many of her younger fans are oblivious to any scandalous, racy or so called nude photos of her but there are of course many that do see them. And it really isn’t the idea that they will see Hannah Montana in her underwear, it is that they will consider taking and then plastering these photos all over the internet as acceptable behavior. Something they will in turn think nothing of doing later themselves.
While personally, I have no problem buying Hannah Montana items for a seven year old I do have a huge problem with the media focusing on any and everything negative they can find. It’s no wonder so many young stars fall apart and head down the wrong tract as they age. I cannot imagine having the press following me every minute of the day just waiting to pounce on any mistake or misjudgment I may make. And let’s not forget the child is only 15!!
I believe that Miley Cyrus has good intentions and strong family support that will hopefully guide her to make the proper choices as she gets older. I know that many young kids, girls especially, love watching Hannah Montana. The show is a great show for kids as it always has a moral or message kids can learn from and I have no problem with the kids watching it. It’s not like Hannah Montana spends the show running around in her underwear: then I might have to change the channel.

I wonder how these KIDS are expected to handle all the press? It's crazy the way they are followed.
It must be impossible to do normal 15 year old things like going to a movie. She is still a child and she needs the ability to be just that!
She is so young and everything she does gets so blown up - I just pray she stays protected by her family.

i swear to god it will be funnier than all h*** the day that Disney finds that they don't want anything from her anymore and she has to make it on her own, as much as she's screwing up, she's fated to be the next Paris Hilton or Britney Spears, or worse, the next Lindsay Lohan. my point being, she needs to get her act together and quit doing stupid s***, and if she does, think about what's going to be said about her BEFORE it goes public to the world!
Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus IS going to be the next Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears. You could see that after her photos supposidly "leaked". I think she is a lousy role model and those who follow her a super crazy and are idiots. She can't sing nor dance so... she just takes pix of herself. How lame... and did I forget to mention she's ugly?
