Nadya Suleman appears to have a way of using and then dismissing people: from the sperm donor to her own parents to Dr. Phil. After Angels in Waiting and Dr. Phil have attempted to assure the well being of the Octuplets they are now “going to take a respectful step back.” Leaving the unemployed Octo-Mom to hire her own Nannies and use the services of the hospital staff which according to her Lawyer she is paying for
Linda West-Conforti stated that “As nurses, we monitor parent/child interaction. That’s just part of what we do. I’ve been doing this for 25 years. We monitor if the mom is not in the room. We monitor if the mom has been in the house for 12 hours and never poked her head in to see how the kids have been feeding and how they’ve been doing through the night. This occurred time and time again. This woman fed her babies eight times in five days.”
It seems that Dr. Phil, Allred and AIW have been very concerned over the transparency issue. With 14 children in one house, it is critical to know that they are all safe and cared for 24/7. While everyone (including Suleman and her lawyer) originally agreed to this they are now asking that all nannies sign a non-disclosure form, preventing them from speaking of anything that happens in the house. So apparently Nayda will be able to say and/or act, anyway she wants (as well as let in the media and people who are ill) and the nannies can only keep their job if they turn the other way? Sounds like a great plan and one that is sure to have been put into solely to cover Suleman’s behind, not to aid the children in anyway.
After speaking about the transparency issue Dr. Phil gave thanks (by name) to all the people who worked with him and donated their services from building and furnishing the Octuplet’s custom nursery, the other children’s bedrooms, and the replacement of all the flooring.
Dr. Phil asked Conforti, “At this point, what is your main concern as you exit this situation?” To which she answered: “My main concern is, from what I understand, Kaiser has shown up every other day. My main concern is what is happening that day that Kaiser is not there.” “The communication breakdown: How can I talk to Nadya when she is out shopping? How can I talk to Nadya when she is up in her bedroom reading 200 letters, versus coming down and feeding her babies? Nadya only fed her babies — the only requested time that I did not have to track Nadya down to say, ‘Hey, why don’t we do this feeding?’ is when a film crew was in her house. That was the only time that woman volunteered to feed a child. And I’ll tell you what happened during one episode, she was done feeding, she picked up the child, gave it to me on my chest, she didn’t burp it, she didn’t change the diaper, she walked out of that room, and I didn’t see her for another 12 hours, so talk about a lack of communication. Where was that woman? And if she’s not around, she doesn’t give me a cell phone — this woman does not care for these kids. That’s my honest opinion. She is here for the paparazzi, the media —”

My belief is that angelsin waiting,their attorney are more publicity hungry than most opposing nadia. Has anyone done their research? Their are so many starving , mistreated children in this country that should completly over shadow this vulgar situation the media can't let go of let's get our priorities straight. Not just what is making so many people wealthy! The media has made this situation so bad, that it smells worse than feces & CNN is a big part of this. If she was too involved in child care to appear on Dr. Phil what was she doing at BeBe in the mall spending enough time and money $1500.00–to buy bags full of clothing.
A feature detailing how an indigent, ex-stripper mother of six to 14 asking for public donations managed to have $100,000 in in vitro implantations, retain eighteen nannies in two years, drive and gas an SUV and have $25,000 worth of cosmetic surgery AND still have enough left over to send her kids to private school on an average of $16,500 a year would certainly be interesting. Oops, I forgot the $564,000 house.

A coworker's preemie twin died on Saturday of SIDS. She found her as she was starting to die; she still had a heart beat and was still faintly breathing. (The parents paid extra to rent home monitors to alert them if anything started to go wrong with the twin's heart rate or breathing.)
Even the dad has been home the whole first month to take care of them and the mommy (who nearly died and had to have her uterus removed). Why can't people like this adopt one of the babies? They surely would be cherished and cared for.

I find her very disgusting as a person, and totally not what a mother should be. It's no wonder so many children grow up wondering and distrusting the world around them when their mothers have given nothing to look forward too as children.

from the get go people criticised nadya for living off the state. right or wrong "pimping" her kids is the one way to make enough money to pay for their upkeep. since she is the parent, she has every right to control their image and that includes what is said about them. if she didn't make nannies/nurses sign any confidentiality agreement then those people could make money from the octuplets. that would hardly benefit the octuplets but would feed another family.
by signing said confidentiality agreements doesn't stop anyone complaining to cps if they saw some breach of parenting. i suspect however that cps is fed up with the complaints and are happy that kaiser is monitoring the kids. remember kaiser is mandated to report to cps if there is any untoward behaviour.
This is the time that nadya has to take advantage of the best offers to "pimp" her kids. i am sure she is inundated with all sorts of letters, emails, offers and probably requests. i am surprised that aiw cannot see that the long term survival of the family depends on nadya taking advantage of oportunities. i think if you offer to help you have to understand what you are helping. nadya isn't a drug addicted mother of one that needs parenting lessons. hers is a unique situation that requires a little intelligence on the part of aiw to understand. by the way what happened to all the money raised to pay aiw? they only worked for 5 days.
i can understand some of people's bitterness about the amount of money she is evidently making from this while their own lives are being compromised financially by the current economic situation. the unfortunate thing about life is that it is often not fair. remember the richest man is the one who is happy with what he has.

Well Susan, her Mom has also stated she is NOT a good Mother and we must never forget it was the grandparents who have basically raised the older 6 kids. Providing care and money - both more than Nayda herself has.
As far as her Mother not thinking her daughter had plastic surgery - what a bunch of crap. she stated her lips got fuller cause she was carryting too many babies LOL She is an idiot! She also was told by Nayda she wasn't pregs, she had a tumor and th eMom belived that! AND then she told her Mom she wasn't getting any settlement checks and yet she was each and every month but the Mom believed her! Yeah, the Mom is a great one to believe!
Nayda is a user and now she is using her kids - she is a pathtic example and I hope the kids all resent her and turn their backs on her as they age. She makes me sick and she owes the Stae of CA for the hospital bill for her and her litter!
It's December 2010 and it's is apparent that the babies are developmentally disabled. They show no emotion, do not laugh, interact with others. Nadya keeps the babies in cribs, caged in with a zipped up cover. She knows if she retards their development she can get a paycheck for each one. Looks like she succeeded. In her doctor's recent trial he testified that she insisted on transferring twelve embryos. She had signed an agreement to reduce the pregnancy but she disappeared after five babies showed on the ultrasound. Of course she disappeared. This was her big scheme to get rich and famous. What a sick woman. Who in their right mind endangers their own babies?
