The following male celebrities may be best known for their acting, singing or skills on the field, but many on this list honor those they love with permanent ink.

1. Johnny Depp - Among his 13 tattoos, Depp uses body art to honor his mother (Betty Sue), daughter (Lily-Rose) and son, (Jack) although he has yet to get a permanent mark to honor his partner of over 10 years, Vanessa Paradis.
2. David Beckham - Nine tattoos in his collection include his sons names (Brooklyn & Romeo) along with his wife's name (Victoria) in Hindi with Latin text underneath reading, "that I love and cherish."
3. Eminem - His daughter's name (Hailie Jade) is tattooed on the underside of his right arm.
4. Dennis Rodman - It's not clear just how many tattoos he has, but he did file a lawsuit against a T-shirt company  for using his body art.
5. Sylvester Stallone - An image of his current wife, Jennifer Flavin, is tattooed on his right shoulder and bicep, along with three roses representing their daughters.
6. Kobe Bryant - After a Colorado woman accused Bryant of sexual assault, he tattooed his wife and daughter's name on his left arm.
7. Tommy Lee - Too many tattoos to count, Lee and ex-wife Anderson recently reunited and now raise their two boys together.
8. Lebron James - His first son's one-year old image is tattooed on the inside of his left arm and later got his mother's name, Gloria, on his right shoulder. When his second son was born, he had his name (Bryce Maximus) on his left forearm.
9. Mark Wahlberg - Father of three children with girlfriend, Rhea Durham, Wahlberg sports four tattoos (to date), including a rosary around his neck.
10. Lenny Kravitz - His daughter with Lisa Bonet is 20 years old this year, but Kravitz admits that he'd still love more children. A large tattoo on his back reads, "My Heart Belongs to Jesus Christ."
11. Ben Affleck - Ben regrets the tattoos he had done as a teen, including the dolphin that covers the name of his high school sweetheart. He has two daughters with actress, Jennifer Garner.
12. Shaquille O'Neal - This father of 6 has many distinguishing tattoos, including the Superman symbol on his left bicep.
