With an offering of sweet and savory brunch dishes ranging from Smores Pancakes to crab cake benedict, attentive service, healthy portions, bottomless cups of coffee, views of Gay Street and giant Star Wars and Dora coloring sheets, Sunday Brunch at the new Side Bar & Restaurant makes the entire family happy.
The Side Bar & Restaurant opened last November and is located at 10 E. Gay Street in West Chester, Pa. We've stopped by two times around 10:30 on Sundays and have not been disappointed.
Brunch entrées range from $6 to $16 (fillet benedict), and sides are roughly $3 or less. Our entire bill for a family of four was approximately $30, and we left very full and content.
Andrew and Caroline split an order of Smores Pancakes ($8), which was more than enough for them plus two of their best friends. Caroline nearly jumped out of her high chair upon seeing the pancakes with the marshmallow fluff, clapped her hands and gave a big "ooooooooooooooh."
Andrew's face lit up when offered a giant Clone Trooper coloring sheet by a Side Bar staff member. When I saw that come out, I thought, "someone here gets kids." Bryan and I commented that the $4 Bloody Marys would definitely take the sting out of a sleepless night followed by a morning filled with non stop Star Wars discussion.
According to its website, Side Bar & Restaurant is a casual restaurant and bar that caters to all ages and focuses on excellent and affordable food and spirits. Subscribe to Side Bar's newsletter for information on upcoming events and promos.

Thanks for the info, Eryn. I didn't even know they did Sunday Brunch..I like finding new locations for Sundays and it's even right down the street from our store.
