Greenville area families can accomplish several goals on mornings at the Carolina First Saturday Market on Main Street in downtown Greenville. Two city blocks are roped off for pedestrians to stroll among the booths of locally grown fresh produce, locally prepared food, locally produced arts and crafts and live music.
There's no charge to enter and families can simply enjoy the free samples of freshly baked bread from the Great Harvest Bread Company, the cooking demonstrations and the variety of live music scheduled each week. But families can also purchase fruits and vegetables, baked goods and handicrafts all from a variety of local vendors.
