On September 8, 2009 a recall was issued on children's masks and pendants due to risk of lead exposure. This recall involves about 1,400 units that were manufactured by Team Work Trading, of Los Angeles, California. Both the masks and pendants contain high levels of lead and should be immediately taken away from children. The children's masks involved in the recall resemble the face of a cat and the pendants have animated symbols on them including: a dog tag with fire symbol (Bleach),a knife and lion symbol (Final Fantasy),a Mickey Mouse symbol (Kingdom of Hearts), and a burning sun symbol (Naruto). The recalled items were sold nationwide at various gift shops and modeling stores from November 2008 through March 2009.
