Joy Fawcett, three-time Olympic Gold Medalist and world cup champion started the Saddleback United Soccer Club to bring the fun back into the sport for her daughters. Her experience as a soccer champion, a soccer mom and advocate for the Positive Coaching Alliance gives her a unique perspective on youth sports.
Joy Fawcett invites soccer families all over the Bay Area to come to the US Youth Club Soccer Spring Class Cup on Saturday, March 13th in Palo Alto. Fawcett will lead mini-clinics for soccer players, sign autographs, hand out materials from the Positive Coaching Alliance and mentor parents about positive coaching.
Kids can also nominate their mom or dad for being a good soccer parent at the Cuties booth at the event. Nominees are entered to win gift cards and a grand prize of $5000 and an all day soccer clinic with Joy Fawcett.
