One reward of being involved in activities is the people you get to meet. There are so many interesting people in the metro D.C. area doing exciting work in the paranormal, that it was hard to decide who I would use to launch this series of articles.
I chose to start with Laine because she is very well respected and someone that many of you may already know, or may know of through her many activities and involvements. She is both wildly successful and exceedingly humble. A corporate world success story, Lanie later spread her wings by jumping into multiple careers related to the paranormal. She is a renowned investigative medium, co-owner of the Ghost Channel (www.ghostchannel.tv) with the Ghost of Gettysburg’s Mark Nesbitt, internet radio talk show host, professor of business and marketing, author, researcher and mother. Somehow, she does it all!
Laine’s psychic repertoire includes abilities as a: transmedium, clairaudient, clairsentient, and clairvoyant. Which ability she uses is largely dependent upon the spirit or ghost’s strengths and/or preferences. She essentially turns on the psychic channel and tunes into the psychic frequency at which the communication is taking place.
Her psychic and paranormal awakening is an interesting journey. I was at an event one evening listening to her recount different times and experiences in her life. In my work, I teach people to look for and recognize signs, indicators and/or patterns; and from what I heard, I can only assume that she had either spent much of her life not recognizing her psychic capabilities or she just wasn’t aware of them. Whatever the case, it is a personal story deserving to be heard and a fascinating platform to learn about and try to understand the abilities she possesses.
Fortunately, Laine has found many ways in which to apply her skills and abilities. Perhaps one of the lesser known but interesting ways she uses them has been in helping to discover unknown facts & details about historical and archeological sites in the Mid-Atlantic region including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia which are later researched for validation. What an interesting way to see history “come alive”.
Watch for future articles about Laine and her work here on Examiner.com. In the meantime you can visit her website at www.investigativemedium.com or the Ghost Channel website at www.ghostchannel.tv. There you will be able to find out more information about her, her work and her paranormal offerings.
