What exactly is this?
A few who have seen the footage say it is the Sun reflecting off jet contrails.
But then why does it travel on an angle down to the horizon.
Is it a satellite or other space debris falling into the Earth's atmosphere?
I would love to know if anyone has knowledge of such debris falling from orbit over South China on May 17th of 12009.
I cannot find any follow up report that the reporter promised.

No no no. Clearly that's a contrail from a Chinese lantern bouncing off a satellite.
Obviously it Venus' reflection bouncing off a satellite seen through a Chinese lantern that's floating full of swamp gas.
No, you guys have got it all wrong.
A Chinese guy named "Lantern" was driving his El Camino up the hill and the sunlight reflected off of his rear view mirror, causing the light bounce off the planet Venus. It was then magnified through some swamp gas, and reflected onto the camera lens, creating the illusion of a ufo.
the truth is out der!!!
