If one enjoys watching paranormal shows, Episode 57, from the upcoming Season 5, 2011 "Ghost Adventures" TV show, will be filmed at the famous "O.K. Corral" in Tombstone Arizona.
The shows "Arizona" episode will debut and air on October 14, 2011.
The crew from the show "Ghost Adventures", will revisit once again, old Tombstone, Arizona to investigate the O.K. Corral.
On June 25, 2011 Zak Bagans announced through twitter, that Ghost Adventures was renewed by the Travel Channel for another season starting this September of 2011. There will be 34 great new episodes, one of which, will be filmed in Arizona
To refresh you on the story behind the famous gunfight that will be shown on "Ghost Adventures", here is a breakdown of events that happened that made history...
The "O.K. Corral had that infamous and fatal gun fight, that lasted a total 30-seconds.
On October 26, 1881, the gunfight took place at about approximately 3:00 p.m in the small western town of Tombstone, Arizona.
The famous gunfight actually began on land approximately seven doors down from Fremont Street. It started at the rear entrance to the O.K. Corral, leaving "3" gun slingers dead. Frank and Tom McLaury and Billy Clanton were killed instantly . Billy Claiborne and Ike Clanton, ran from the fight unharmed. Doc Holliday, Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp, survived the shooting exchange and were all wounded. Also, the "Boot Hill Graveyard" houses the three killed during that short lived foolish , yet famous, gunfight.
