VAPR-Con 2009
V.A.P.R. stands for Vonore Area Paranormal Research. We are a small, independent team based about 30 miles south of Knoxville TN. We are a dedicated group of researchers with a true love and passion for the paranormal field. Our goal with VAPR-CON is to support and encourage a diverse education and understanding for the public in general, as well as a meeting of the minds for those in this field, and other like genres.
VAPR-CON is a paranormal convention that will cover a wide variety of subjects. With an amazing line up of speakers, spanning multiple subjects...this is a definite DON'T MISS event.
The venue is the old South Pittsburg Hospital in South Pittsburg TN (near Chattanooga). This is a hospital with great history! Not only is this a historical gem, but it is also a paranormal treasure. Past investigations have resulted in countless EVP results, photographs and personal experiences, making it a favorite investigation location. It is now privately owned, with its doors closing for good in 1998. This events proceeds will be given to the owner to help pay for the upkeep of the hospital. If the owner has the funds to pay for the needs of the building, it will protect it from being sold, and possibly demolished by new owners.
Arrival of guest speakers is set for Friday Oct. 2nd. Doors and events are open for the public/ticket holders on Saturday October 3rd and Sunday October 4th.
Ticket prices are as follows: Saturday October 3rd Day Pass - $25.00 per person
Sunday October 4th Day Pass - $25.00 per person
Weekend Pass - Both Days Events - $40.00 per person
Group Rates - Groups of 5 or More - $30.00 per person
VIP Passes - Only 5 will be sold - Includes both days events, plus attendance of a cook out dinner and investigation Saturday night with V.A.P.R. and guest speakers. - $60.00 per person

Tickets are available by PRE-ORDER ONLY!!!! If enough tickets are sold in advance, we may choose to sell at the door as well, but we will decide that closer to conference time. If not enough tickets are sold in advance, the conference may be postponed.

9:00pm - The Chris Dedman Event!!! Join Chris Dedman and some very special guests for a more intimate investigation of old South Pittsburg Hospital. (again, this is a separate event from VAPR-CON and requires its own ticket)
