Paul Brownings lastest book that can be found at www.lulu.com
A factory worker in Clarksville, Tennessee for the last twelve years of his life, Paul Browning began his paranormal path with an event that took place when he was only 17.
During that time he was living in a small town in South Dakota. It was during his senior year in high school that something happened that would leave him scratching his head and wondering about life after death.
His eighty three year old grandfather was living in Kansas at the time and was in extremely poor health. One day, Paul's parents received a phone call. The conversation was difficult at best as this elderly gentleman pleaded his case, wanting to move to South Dakota to spend his remaining days with family. Unfortunately, in the extremely small community where Paul lived, there wasn't any hospice or caretakers to satisfy the needs of his grandfather's deteriorating health.
The phone call eventually ended and the family felt helpless to grant the wishes of a family member. And just a few days after that call, his grandfather passed away.
Only a day or two after his passing, things began happening in that South Dakota home. Things that left Paul in complete disbelief, including a floor model television set that was turned half way around on a plush rug carpet. A three-drawer filing cabinet that took three men to move (as it was fully loaded) was found facing a wall (turned completely backwards). And the television set that originally was found facing the wrong way was suddenly coming on at night with the volume completely up, but would turn off just before anyone got into the room to turn it down or off.
I met Paul in late 2007 at a local comic book store in Clarksville, Tennessee where he was making a public appearance. Even being the first time meeting I come just tell that he had the same passion and fire for the paranormal as I did. We began networking together and assisting each other on larger and more difficult cases.
Paul asked me to attend an investigation at the Octagon Hall in Franklin, Kentucky not too long after we first met. I gladly accepted and I am so glad that I did. It was a Friday night and I had worked all day. I was very tired but the pace of the investigation kept my energy pumping. This investigation made a solid impact on me and I knew at that time that Paul and The Clarksville Ghost Hunters knew what they were doing.
This investigation and the details of what happened are included in Hauntings at The Octagon Hall. The book is a tell all about 5 paranormal teams that have investigated this location and the great results that have taken place. I personally recommend this book and have a copy myself.
