Lisa DuBois is a photojournalist living and working in New York City. Upon graduating from the Germain School of photography in New York she received an award in Photojournalism. The articles she writes are complimented by the unique photographs she produces from each event. The photos provide a personal connection between herself the reader and the event. Lisa’s coverage of parades and visually stimulating events is enjoyed by many, her work has been exhibited internationally and her photos have been chosen for 3 years in a row to be included in "The Best of Photography 2009 2010 2011" hardcover book for Photographers Forum magazine. She has created her signature style by combining two mediums: photography & digital manipulation. Her favorite photographers include Gordon Parks, Sebastio Selgado, Tony Barboza, James Vander Zee, Helmut Newton, and many more. The work of Lisa DuBois is quite eclectic in the sense that her scope goes beyond ordinary photographs and reaches into the psyche on many levels.
