There's something both amusing and rather tragic about this story of Tiffany Shepherd and the Leah Lust video.
Tiffany Shepherd was, at one time, simply a teacher in Florida and the married mother of three children. Then comes a divorce and as so often happens, it is the wife and children that find themselves in financial troubles after such a split.
Shepherd is an attractive woman: perhaps a polite way of describing her figure would be that she fills a bikini nicely (my colleague as a photo of Tiffany here). So, in order to help make ends meet she took a job with a fishing charter company. Their come on, their unique selling point, was that while you fished your were attended by ladies who, umm, filled a bikini nicely. That is it though, they were there as eye candy, not to fulfill any other possibly illegal or immoral function. Purely to be there in what they would wear to the beach, a service for which some men are entirely happy to pay.
It appears that the school board got wind of this, most likely from having seen publicity photos on the fishing charter company's website. Thus they fired Tiffany Shepherd: their claimed reason was her absences from her duties, although the firing came only four days after the photos surfaced...convenient really.
Having been fired Shepherd says that she sent some 2,500 resumes around Florida looking for a job as a teacher and was unable to find a single one. She also lost custody of two of her children to her ex-husband. So she made the slightly unusual decision to become a hard core porn star, making videos under the name Leah Lust. As you can imagine, this hasn't helped her career prospects as a teacher, at least not in a normal school system.
The tragedy here is that the reaction to Tiffany Shepherd doing something almost entirely innocent, fishing in a bikini, has led to her being forced (by her account) into hard core porn and Leah Lust videos. The school board, by acting in shock to something not very shocking, has created something shocking.
The amusement, and it has to be said that it's a rather dry, wry, type, is that one of the first Leah Lust videos was entitled "My First Sex Teacher".

If I were on the school board, I'd have done the same thing. Once they found out the reason she had missed over 30 days of work (unexcused) was because she was working as a topless model on a fishing boat, the logical thing to do would be to fire her. duh!
She was only posing in BIKINI pics before she got fired, not nude or anything. The School basically fired her because she was simply too hot for them
I do not think it's an appropriate way for a school teacher to behave. She's ok looking, one of the usual clones that pleases the small brains of men, but lets face it,what's sad about this story, she's laughing all the way to the bank!

First, that is the awesomest thing ever if you went to school when she was your teacher. She's totally fapable, even without having done porn. But seriously, she was "forced" into porn? Granted I think it was more than a little unfair that she got fired, but considering the problem ANYONE has been having getting a job, is it really surprising she couldn't get work? Now, we all have to make ends meet, fair enough, but no one "Forced" her into porn. I had trouble finding a job for a while to, but I didn't resort to porn (not making it, at any rate). Second, I see nothing wrong with the porn industry. Merely providing a service, like any other entertainment industry. But two things. Porn pays well and all, but how long does it last? She's one of a million faces. And pornstars don't have great 401Ks. Not unless you can brand your name, which in her case seems unlikely. Second, take your child to work day is gonna' be awkward. I hope porn pays for the therapy.
Oh, and in response to Liz H about her "laughing all the way to the bank". I'm sure she is. I'm sure she'd much rather be getting ****** up the ******* with a ten inch *****, or maybe having hot **** smeared all over her ***** while she's getting ******** in her ******* and at the same time giving ****** to a midget with ********, then getting paid less for teaching high school bio. Okay. Just one more comment and I promise this'll be the end of it. Again, talking about how she was forced into porn. She apparently wasn't making enough money teaching (which is why she did the boat trips) so wouldn't she have been looking for a beter paying job anyway? And why not a stripper? They at least have been romanticized in hip hop and r&b songs. She's already got a theme. ANd I guarantee you that on the day she debuted, every single male in that high school would have a fake ID made so they could go see her.
