Demi Moore denies having had plastic surgery

In a statement that has a number of people gasping, Demi Moore has denied that she has ever had any form of plastic surgery.

Demi Moore made the claim, that no siree, her youthful looks were not the result of plastic surgery, nothing at all to do with the ministrations of the surgeon's knife, in an interview with the French version of Marie Claire magazine.

All of which leads to a certain amount of controversy as it has long been assumed that Demi Moore has been an enthusiastic client of plastic surgeons. Indeed, it is said that her surgeon is in fact Brian Novack, one of the very best of the breed.

However, on the other side of the argument while Demi Moore does indeed look very good, youthful, for her age of 46, she doesn't in fact have many or even any of those tell tale signs of having had plastic surgery. No frozen forehead, no staring eyes, none of the usual horrors.

There are endless tales of what plastic surgeries Demi Moore has had, this is true. Here's one such example:

Demi Moore’s Plastic Surgery Expenses

• Liposuction to her hips, inner and outer thighs and stomach - $32,000
• Beast implants for 1996 film Striptease - $22,000
• Subsequent operation to reduce her breast implants and have a breast lift - $19,000
• Brow lift - $7,200
• Chemical facial skin peel - $20,000
• Collagen injections (per course) - $400
• Teeth veneered and laser whitening - $12,400
• Knees surgery – $10,000

The problem with this list, which is endlessly repeated, is that it comes from a source which is not really 100% reliable: Britain's Daily Mail. Your humble reporter, having actually worked with British newspapers, would not accord a great deal of weight to such a source.

There are indeed before and after shots of her supposed breast implants here. (NSFW) However, it's not exactly unusual that a woman with three children will have differently shaped, larger even, breasts than the same woman before she had children. Indeed, it's actually entirely normal that such a change would occur. As for the teeth whitening, is that actually considered plastic surgery these days? Or simply top class dentistry?

So, at this point it's not really possible to tell: has Demi Moore had plastic surgery or not? Do we take her at her word or not? Entirely up to you really.
