Verizon IP Trunking With Centralized Design Efficiently Extends and Effectively Manages VoIP Capabilities Across Multiple Sites

READING, England, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- To help European-based companies reduce operating costs and simplify network management, Verizon Business is making it easier for these companies to make the move to voice-over-IP communications.

Verizon Business' premier VoIP solution -- IP Trunking -- now offers enterprise customers the flexibility to implement a centralized IP PBX hub in one European location and to extend VoIP services -- including the enhanced features and benefits of unified communications and collaboration -- to other sites across multiple European countries. This eliminates the need for in-country voice trunks and TDM/IP gateways, as well as additional IP PBXs at each site. For example, Verizon IP Trunking installed at a hub location, such as a company's headquarters in the U.K., could be used to service additional company sites located in France and Germany.

Companies would still be able to manage in-country emergency calling capabilities and use local number presence.

The new centralized model of Verizon IP Trunking is available across eight European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the U.K.
