WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Map) - As a provider of advancements in wireless technology that have made it possible for anyone to capture the world around them at a moment's notice, Nokia has partnered with Tropfest@Tribeca, the US extension of the world's largest short film festival -- Tropfest, to create the Slice of Life contest. The contest calls for anyone with a video mobile phone to capture a slice of their life, a moment in their day, an expression of their world and send it in as a video postcard clip. This new contest, which is unique in that it calls for content shot entirely on a mobile phone, is being sponsored by Nokia Nseries, which offers a range of award-winning high performance multimedia devices from the world's leading manufacturer of mobile phones, and plays off the official signature item incorporated into the 2007 Tropfest@Tribeca films, Slice.
