Addressing the expressed desire of cable operators to deliver content to their customers' TVs, PCs and mobile devices efficiently and seamlessly, Silicon Image's new digital connectivity architecture with "Echocast Technology" would allow high-definition (HD) quality video/audio and high quality remote user interfaces to be distributed to any consumer electronics device.

Silicon Image's new digital connectivity technology aims to facilitate the distribution of video and audio content as well as associated applications to multiple televisions, mobile phones and PCs connected via a home network.
