Each week, Joey and Mel will ambush an office, hold an impromptu audition
in front of the employee's co-workers and recruit a team of the five best
singers. Then, it's off to boot camp where Mel and Joey help their teams
prepare for their time in the spotlight by coaching them on both their
performance and their vocals. Following boot camp, it's time to shine when the
teams head to the stage for a choreographed sing-off to earn a spot in the
finale and a chance to win the grand prize --
"It's been great getting people to show off their singing talents and giving them a chance to live out their dreams on stage. You can tell they're loving this unexpected opportunity," said Joey. Added Mel, "It's been a blast -- we have found some amazing singers right there on the job. I think we've uncovered some real talent and it's been amazing giving everyday people a chance of a lifetime!"
