Gulf Oil Selects Oracle(R) Applications to Support Corporate Growth Strategy

       strategy as the company repositions itself in the marketplace, adds new
       Gulf Express convenience store locations and partners with distributors
       to provide wholesale marketing, finance and operational development.

       financial reporting while also providing a platform for growth across
       its diverse businesses.  The company expects to close month-end reports
       faster and gain more precise insight to results and synergies across
       its core businesses.

       all projects and activities across the enterprise and provide line
       managers with timely, detailed information to monitor project

    -- Gulf Oil is one of the Northeast's largest wholesalers of refined
       petroleum products.  Gulf distributes motor fuels through a network of
       more than 2,400 Gulf branded gasoline retail centers, 12 proprietary
       oil terminals and a network of more than 50 other supply terminals.
