NEW YORK (Map) - NEW YORK, May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) announced today that Senator Bill Bradley and NBA Hall-of-Famers Willis Reed and Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, all members of the 1972-73 NBA Champion New York Knicks, will reunite at the NBA Store in Manhattan for an exclusive interview on SIRIUS Satellite Radio on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Bradley, Reed and Monroe will sit down with Mike Yam and Mitch Lawrence, hosts of the daily NBA talk show Full Court Press, at the SIRIUS broadcast set on Center Court at the World Famous NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The interview will air live nationwide starting at 1:00 pm ET exclusively on SIRIUS channel 127.

The former teammates will discuss the current NBA Playoffs while remembering their own journey to the 1973 NBA Championship. With Monroe and his dazzling ball-handling skills in the backcourt with Walt "Clyde" Frazier, the steady, intelligent play of Bradley at forward, and the captain, Reed, back at his familiar center spot after being plagued by injuries the previous season, the 1972-73 Knicks finished the regular season with a 57-25 record and captured their second NBA title by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. New York had the stingiest defense in the league that year, yielding only 98.2 points per game, and Bradley set a new team record for free throw percentage, which he would surpass in each of the next four seasons.

All three men were elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame after their playing careers ended and Reed and Monroe were named among the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History." Bradley went on to enjoy a successful second career in politics, representing the state of New Jersey in the U.S. Senate from 1979 to 1997. Bradley also hosts the weekly SIRIUS talk show American Voices, airing Sunday mornings exclusively on SIRIUS Stars, channel 102.
