LOS ANGELES (Map) -
The concept of C5 Youth Foundation was originally conceived in 1999 by
The Coca-Cola system adopted the concept in 2001 and The Camp Coca-Cola Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, was created. By listening to experts in education and youth development, building a talented leadership team and committed local staffs, and utilizing an esteemed and engaged National Advisory Council, the Foundation created Camp Coca-Cola.
Today Camp Coca-Cola is recognized as a leading model of youth development. In 2007, recognizing that the name "Camp Coca-Cola" didn't do justice to its goals, the program or the youth, the foundation changed names and became the C5 Youth Foundation.
Other youth foundations recently sponsored by Capital Gold Group, Inc. include Idol Gives Back, a new U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organization, working to help young people living in poverty in the U.S. and around the world, and The My Stuff Bags Foundation, providing duffel bags filled with things to cuddle and call their own to over 300,000 abused and neglected children entering crisis and foster care across America each year without any of their own belongings.
