NASA Sets Endeavour, Space Station Crew News Conference

HOUSTON (Map) - HOUSTON, March 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 10 crew members aboard space shuttle Endeavour and the International Space Station will hold a news conference at 11:18 p.m. CDT Sunday, March 23.

Media may ask questions from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston; NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida; and NASA Headquarters in Washington. A portion of the news conference will be set aside for Japanese reporters at the

Johnson Space Center and a French radio network selected by the European Space Agency.

To participate in the news conference, U.S. journalists must call the public affairs office at their preferred NASA center by 4 p.m. CDT, Friday, March 21.

During Endeavour's STS-123 mission, astronauts have installed the first section of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Space Agency's two-armed robotic system, known as Dextre. STS-123 is the longest shuttle mission to the station and includes a record five shuttle spacewalks at the orbiting laboratory.
