Bush to announce expanded bank bailout details- The Bush administration plans to spend an initial $250 billion of the $700 billion bailout buying stock in private banks, greatly expanding protections for the U.S. financial system out of deep concern for the faltering economy, industry and government officials said Monday night. The three-CD compilation, featuring a diverse array of national artists, is titled "Musicians for Minneapolis: 57 Songs for the I-35W Bridge Disaster Relief Effort" and is currently available at retail locations. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Minnesota Helps Bridge Disaster Fund. Other artists on the project include Los Lobos, Stray Cats,

Explaining his participation in the project, Lynne says, "Every time you see a tragedy on TV you think 'Oh my gosh, those poor people.' But when it's in your backyard there's a whole different feel to it. I was completely moved by the whole thing, and proud to be a part of the benefit CD."
