Silo Hill Farm celebrates a bountiful harvest and beautiful fall weather with an October Fall Festival with kids’ games, nature walks and a U-Pick Pumpkin patch.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the fall colors on an afternoon walk or sit by the creek side campfire. Children can play in the Korn Krib, wander the hay-bale maze, or get a thrill in the “Boo” House (suitable for young children).
Silo Hill Farm Fall Festival offers free daytime activities and are open every weekend in October. Hours are Fri. 5:00 p.m., Sat. 10:00 a.m., and Sun. 1:00 p.m.
Children have lots to do including face tattoos and pumpkin painting - $1.00 each. The “Boo House” (for children) - $2.00, daytime corn maze - $4.00 and the U-Pick pumpkin patch (prices vary by size.)
Come watch the fun at the Great Pumpkin Race on Oct. 24, 2009 starts at 1:00 p.m. With all the pumpkins you can carry in your arms (or legs) for $15 dollars.

For kids13 and up, there’s a Haunted Corn Maze, a real scream after dark . . . when it’s haunted. A signed Parental Release form must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years. Download the form on their website and bring the completed form with you. Adult Price: 2 Mazes for $7.00.
Campfires, $12.00 (reservations recommended).Group pricing available. Campfires, $12.00, can be reserved (recommended), simple seating is provided. Bring your preferred camp seat if you’d rather, picnic tables are available.
Silo Hill Farm’s philosophy is that there’s always something special to be found in the country, you just have to slow down and watch for it.
