In addition to the meals, which are an amazing dining experience activity all in itself, the other activities are endless.

Disney Cruise Line Unveils Alaska and Pacific Coast Cruises in 2011

Comments
Too bad they flunked the latest environmental report that was just published by Friends of the Earth (Holland America was tops). Hopefully their "F" score will force them to get their act together! I've heard good things about the Disney cruises, so they can certainly shape things up in the enviro department.
I do recall aboard the Disney cruise ship learning all about the Disney environmental endeavors. Fortunately, they have been working hard at improving environmental options, and if we know Disney, they will have an A grade before you know it:
In 2008, Disney Cruise Line was recognized by Conde Nast Traveler magazines annual World Savers Awards for leadership in environmental practices and social responsibility.
Both Disney ships have onboard Environmental Officers who are
responsible for overseeing and verifying all environmental systems, procedures and equipment, along with shipboard recycling, waste minimization and water reclamation
efforts. Their responsibilities include food
waste, water quality and conservation efforts are priorities. Additionally, the Officers supervise shipboard environmental education classes for all new and returning Crew Members highlighting waste minimization, separation and recycling efforts. You can read much more about it on disneycruisenews.com.
