Naked Travel for the Clothing Challenged

I can't think about naked airline travel without imagining being pressed between two huge, hairy men on a flight across the country.  It’s bad enough sharing part of my seat with someone else’s clothed shoulder!  The awkward absurdity of the situation would surely cause an onset of babbling, insomnia, possibly unreturned lust.  Then again maybe a true adventurer would relish the danger of derobement, would welcome a trip around nether regions, leaving modest prudes like me behind.

I was innocently reading AdventureTravelLogue when I came across a post entitled Naked Air . A Pandora's Box of headlines, I clicked.  It would seem that Naked Air is a feature of Naked Week, an event put together by Castaway travel.  Here is a quote taken from the Web site "Luckily, no one came close to exceeding the excess baggage limits.....what a way to pack for a Nude vacation. In fact, many passengers just used carry on bags. Cost for the flight was $499/person including all taxes."

In light of this crazy flight I have to wonder what other services offer naked vacation-related opportunities?  Well, it turns out a lot of companies are all about taking it back to the basics.  A German airline got naked this past January; NFNTravel.com offers clothing optional getaways allowing guests a choice of “Mild Side” or “Wild Side”. The World Naked Bike Ride, Naked Yoga, and Bare to Breakers (an underground naked race that run parallel with San Francisco’s annual Bay to Breakers are packed full of active nakedness.  These only scratch the surface.  There are hundreds if not thousands of naked resorts and hotels, nude beaches and naturalist oasis's.

Nice article, thanks. The German flight, however, didn't "take off" --- too many prudish complaints cancelled it. And I hope an editor will in future catch such impossibilities as "naturalist oasis's" when what you want is "naturist oases."

The assumption that nudity is the one thing that's anathema to work is insane. There's nothing illegal about any of the links here. Let's get rid of the NSFW joke already. It's overused and dead wrong.

Thanks for your informative comment. I appreciate the feedback and criticisms. However, I personally wouldn't want coworkers or my boss to see me on a site with naked pictures of people on it, illegal or not.
