Fourth of July weekend gave many Americans the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, and now America wants to know how we can enjoy our public lands even more. Thursday July 8, representatives of the Obama administrations Great Outdoors Initiative will host a “listening session” at Occidental College. Southern Californians are invited to attend and discuss the importance of public lands and what steps can be taken to improve outdoor recreation.
To have your voice be heard, head to Thome Hall on the Occidental College campus at 3:00 pm. Click here for more information.
