With the huge buzz going around with Rachael Ray's Thursday, November 19th guest, a woman who lost six pounds in two days using the 400 Calorie Fix, a lot of us are intrigued by what exactly it was that allowed this woman to have such a remarkable breakthrough.
Prevention Magazine's "400 Calorie Fix" is turning heads and upping curiosity. It is supposedly a practical calorie eating plans where you can eat whatever you want, and still lose weight. You split up your favorite foods by having four 400-calorie meals a day. The idea behind this is that you will be practicing portion control, so when you are eating more, but smaller meals a day, your appetite will be more satisfied and your metabolism will keep going as it should.
You can use this diet with any food, and they even give you 400 ideas and recipes on what to eat. Whether you are eating at home, or going out to eat, there is an idea.
When it's all said and done, it seems so simple. But, if it is so simple, then why aren't more people doing it? Can it really be that easy? In the end, it just seems like it's a calorie counting diet. What makes it so different from the other diets that are similar? If anyone watches their food intake and takes precautions with the portions that they eat and eat everything in moderation, it should not be a problem. Plus, everyone should get out and exercise every once in awhile as well.
Do you think the 400 Calorie Fix is an effective diet? Would you/will you try it? Why or why not?
