The Securian Frozen 5k and Half Marathon first started 30 years ago. It's an annual event that takes place in St. Paul at the intersection of Sixth and Roberts Streets. This upcoming event will be held on January 23, 2010 and is being managed by Anderson Race Management.
Pre-registration fees are $30 for the half marathon and $25 for the 5k. If registering in person on race day, fees will be $45 for the half marathon and $35 for the 5k. Online registration closes on Wednesday, January 21st at midnight. The registration fees include a mug, Winter Carnival button and coupon book. Racers will have the opportunity to purchase shirts at the merchandise booth on race day.
The Half Marathon is scheduled to start at 9:00 am local time and the 5k will be starting shortly after at 9:15 am.
