O'Connor's BBQ restaurant got its storefront in 2008, but they've been around about 30 years in the catering business. It shows. Few do tri-tip as well as O'Connor's.
Located in Orangevale, CA, in the northeast section of Sacramento, O'Connor's has a fairly broad menu with beef, pork, sandwiches, appetizers, and beer on tap and by the bottle. They serve lunch and dinner six days a week.
We liked O'Connor's more than most places we've tried locally. Although the only entrees we had were sandwiches, both were outstanding. See O'Connor's in detail in the video below:

Update: I received a nice note from the owner of O'Connor's. While I mentioned in the video there was an upcharge for the fries, he said no, that's for the salad. We were charged, but apparently it was an error.

I like the video combined with a short written summary. This could be very helpful for your tutorials which are great as they are. Nice idea!
Very good review. I do like the video presentation along with the caption. We saw this restaurant about a month ago and we were curious about the place. Now that I saw your review, we will be checking it out.
I like your new format! Great review. A few facts on O'Connor's. missing are that John O'Connor is the creator of that tri tip and the guys who run the place now bought the concept from John a few years back. The 30 years of experience left with John but he did manage to pass that knowledge on to the guys there. That red oak and that sauce are signature John O'Connor specialties. I have the honor of knowing John and trust that he placed his beloved catering business in good hands. You know how to reach me if you want to interview John. I can hook the two of you up.
