Sens forward, Alexei Kovalev will play in tonight's game versus Pittsburgh, but will leave the team tomorrow to head to Russia in the wake of the death of his mother in law on thursday. He is expected to miss Saturday's game versus Buffalo, and Tuesday's game against Washington.
Kovalev will surely be missed in the Sens lineup, as the winger has heated up of late, after a slow start to the season; recording four points in his last for games, including assists on both of Mike Fisher's goals tuesday night against Toronto.
