9/4/2009--White House official says Jones still part of the administration. Would not confirm that he still has the President's ear. Robert Gibbs would only say Friday that Jones, no stranger to controversial or offensive statements, is still a part of the administration.

9/3/2009 —Fox News’ Glenn Beck program sported a countdown timer for the White House to respond to the fact that Van Jones belonged to the 9/11 truther movement before Glenn aired the segment. Glenn yelled to his staff to check the fax and then let loose with this startling revelation.
For those of you who may not know a 9/11 Truther is one that believes that the 9/11 terror attacks may have been an inside job or specifically that Bush let it happen.
Fox News reports,
Jones joined the "9/11 truther" movement by signing a statement in 2004 calling for then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others to launch an investigation into evidence that suggests "people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war."
Mike Berger, a spokesman for 911Truth.org, told the Washington Times over the phone that all of the signers had been verified by their group. He said 9/11Truth.org board members
Spoke with each person on the list by phone or through email to individually confirm they had added their name to that list.” “I think in most cases they spoke to them personally,” he added. “No one’s name was put on that list without them knowing it.”
The statement asked a series of critical questions hinting at Bush administration involvement in the attacks and called for "deeper inquiry."
The White House issued a statement well after the Glenn Beck show aired and of course Van Jones denied believing the 9/11 Truther’s rhetoric. The ABC article infers that Beck is outing Jones in retaliation for Van Jones’ Color of Change group attacking Beck’s advertisers. The same article by Jake Tapper sings of Jones accolades as it they could possible justify this radicals words and writings. The Dem-wits for some reason think if you have a book listed on the New York Times Best Sellers list that gives you redemption and a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Van Jones in fact used Color of Change to attack Glenn Beck's advertisers after Beck began introducing Obama’s radical czars!

When I've seen video of him talkin sh** I watch his eyes and I'm reminded of a manipulator who, as he's lying , he's checking to see if his lies are working. Note to graphics dept. Van Jones shouldn't have apologized. 9/11 Truthers are not the "fringe" of society. Most Americans question the official 9/11 story in some way. The Parliament of Japan, the former President of Italy, and widely-respected CIA veteran Robert Baer have all questioned the official story behind 9/11. How can you call Beck a nut? The crap he's putting on television isn't made up. These guys say what they say, they mean what they mean. They can't just stand up there, speech after speech, spewing anti-constitutional rhetoric, and not expect it to catch up to them. What Obama did wrong was think he could appoint these misguided souls as Czars, and not get called on it. I've been giving Obama the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe they had pulled the wool over his eyes too, but since he now choses to stand behind these guys, it proves that he is misguided too.
Leave it to the Germans to come up with a word that describes the feeling of joy that is derived from the suffering of others; "Schadenfreude".
I must say that I am enjoying Van’s misfortunes tremendously. There are about 58 youtubes out there featuring Van. Each of these videos shows him making a complete fool of himself while outing himself as a blatant racist at the same time. Just when you think that it can not get any more excruciating for Van, the next clip shows him defending some off-the-wall theory even more senseless and laughable than the one before. Then, like the proverbial cherry on top, Van is a Truther!
The only person more deranged than Van is Biden. Joe, if you are reading this, I wonder, are all those jobs you saved on planet earth?
