Jana Kramer performs to at '3rd & Lindsley'-April 14, 2010/BMI
Country music has a new hit-singing sensation on the way and her name is Jana Kramer! The One Tree Hill star proved her talent extends far beyond acting when she performed to a full house at Nashville's '3rd and Lindsley' last week.
Kramer held a special showcase for fans and country music's VIP's to make her musical debut. Only it didn't seem like a debut. On stage Kramer appeared as natural and professional a singer as one who has been performing their entire life.
“It was a very overwhelming but wonderful feeling”, said Kramer on her first show. “I was so happy to have sang to my fans and showed them my passion. They got to experience me a little bit, through my songs, and it was just a real honor”.
Kramer's fans, who took the long flights and road trips to support her, would say they are the ones who were honored to be among the first to hear her sing live.
“Jana's music is addicting. You hear it and you just wanna start singing along with her. Seriously some amazing stuff”, said Morgan Hendricks who flew in from Pennsylvania for the showcase. Allison Abernathy who drove from Georgia just for the day agrees. “She has an amazing voice”, said Abernathy.
Kramer kicked off the show with the up-beat “Let's just be”, which she wrote and immediately captured the audience's interest with. She also showcased her strong vocals with her ballad “Save me”, a song the successful actress describes as very special to her.
The Michigan-native ended the show with a catchy, fun song written about her dog, Sophie; appropriately titled, “Sophie dog”. Her vocals, songs, and great vibe of energy on stage, present Kramer as a true of breath of fresh air entering the music world today.
A meet and greet with Kramer and fans was held directly following the show. “It was just nice to see them all supporting me”, she said. “I have the best fans in the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the fans!”

Kramer says it's her fans that are a large part of her drive in this tough music industry. “I'm not gonna give up. I see great things and I know that I have my fans backing me all the way and that's what's keeping me going”, she said on her dedicated fan base.
The incredible support from her fans in addition to her undeniable talent and passion for her music is what will take Kramer very far in the music world. “The love of music, and writing, and wanting to share my story is another thing that keeps me going”, she said.
Listening to Kramer sing, witnessing her spark on stage, and seeing the enormous fan support she has established before even releasing her first single, it's safe to Jana Kramer's music will have a home with country music radio and fans.
