Lindsay Graham made news by saying what no other conservative Republican has wanted to say -- the birthers are crazy. He also called them nuts.
Presumably that includes Lou Dobbs who has been one of the birthers biggest allies and was chastised by the president of CNN and told to drop the issue. Dobbs had also been called an embarrassment to CNN by present and former staffers over his support of the birthers.
Graham also called Glenn Beck a cynic which is what you call someone like Beck who says things that might be called crazy but when you're making the money he is by doing it, you call it cynicism.
Graham probably didn't single handedly put an end to the birther movement but he did put an end to it as anything the media will continue to cover

Oh, well. Lindsay Graham is also one of the guys who wouldn't rule out nationalization of banks. I don't care, at all, about the so-called "birther" issues but Sen. Graham is not the type of leader the Republican party needs.
I love it! A major republican finally calls it as it is and the other 'pubs immediately disown him! The fringe crazies are trying to hijack your party and claim it as their own. BTW, the democrats love this because it just keeps you further and further from regaining power.
Birfoons are delusional, paranoid, pathetic idiots that deserve to be ridiculed and mocked at least and sued for libel and charged with sedition at best.
Lindsay is "McCain light"- he can't admit the McCain campaign was forced to produce an actual birth certificate (even though McCain's parents were both US citizens) while Obama, with a foreign parent, never produced an actual "vault" birth certificate- the online Certification of Live Birth was also given to a man born in China, Sun Yat Sen. Lindsey needs to do his homework and quit playing to the liberal mainstream media- that doesn't go over well in the conservative Palmetto State.
