At the half, the Jets lead 24 to nothing. The Raiders essentially gave them two touchdowns with turnovers. Twice the Jets had drives start at the Raiders 4 yard line after JaMarcus Russell miscues. Russell's three turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble) were enough to get him benched for at least one series. It remains to be seen whether it will be Russell or Bruce Gradkowski when play resumes.

Raiders defense (continued): After the fake punt, the Jets drive stalled out.
Raiders fifth drive: Justin Fargas ripped off a 35 yard run, but the Raiders could not get past midfield. Darrius Heyward-Bey had his second catch of the game. Lechler's punt pinned the Jets at their own six.
Raiders defense: The Jets marched down the field with a 93 yard touchdown drive. There had appeared to be a stop earlier on the drive but a defensive holding on Stanford Routt gave the Jets a fresh set of downs.
Raiders sixth drive: Raiders best drive start at the 27 yardline. Bruce Gradkowski has taken over for JaMarcus Russell.Gradkowski had two incomplete passes before hitting Zach Miller for seven yards resulting in a three and out.
Raiders defense: The Jets moved the ball 76 yards without much effort culumniating with a field goal to end the half.
