Reasons for the Raider Nation to be thankful

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the Raider Nation, and the fans of all the lesser teams as well.

It has been a trying year for the Nation with all the drama and losing that our beloved team has undergone. However, there are still many reasons for us to be grateful on this holiday.

  1. We are not Detroit Lions fans. The Raiders may have lost more than they won, but the Raiders three wins are still three more wins than the Lions.
  2. Three Lombardis. It has been a while, but the Raiders are still in the upper echelon in terms of the number of championships.
  3. Each Other. One thing about the Raider Nation is the camaraderie. We party together at the taligates. We celebrate our wins together, and we stand together in the tough times.
  4. Beat the Broncos. Its been a rough year, but it is always fun to see Mike Shanahan squirm.
  5. Raiderettes. Football's Fabulous Females. Need I say more?

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving, everyone. Enjoy the time with family and friends to be thankful for the little and big things in our lives that are more important than football. If you decide to have a few drinks, let someone else drive or crash there for the night.

Happy Thanksgiving Guys, I wish you health and prosperity in the near future! Now to answer what I'm thankful for. Number#1 my health. #2 I have a job that's recession proof.#3 The Raiders kicked the Broncos in the pants hard! Lastly, we have future weapons at Quarterback and Running back. BRAVO-ZULU Raiders continue onward.
