As the Oakland Raiders continued their tradition of silence by not commenting on the Richard Seymour deal or no deal, William Joseph reappeared at practice after having been cut earlier in the week to make room for Seymour.
This marks the second straight season where William Joseph was cut and brought back. However, this move would seem to mean that the Richard Seymour saga would continue to drag on. It would not seem to be dead, as Seymour is still listed on the roster section of Raiders.com.
WIth the reappearance of Joseph, that means that someone had to go. The Raiders PR staff informed us that Head Coach Tom Cable would announce the transaction that had transpired.
William Joseph had been expecting to return to the Raiders. "The day they let me go, they released me, coach Cable said, ‘Don’t go nowhere.’ I was just around, sticking around, seeing what was going to happen.”
As of now, it is anybody's guess as to what is going on with Richard Seymour.

Justin Fargas is one of five Raiders who have beaten the San Diego Chargers whilst wearing Silver and Black. The other four are Nnamdi Asomugha, Sam Williams, Shane Lechler, and Sebastian Janikowski.
Fargas sees the current team as a new beginning that is not beholden to the troubles of the last few years, "The main thing we can't do is we can't look back to what happened in the past and things like that. This is a new time, a new beginning for this team and this organization. With all the young talent that we have and the group of veterans that play the game the right way, the way it's supposed to be done, this is a new team and we're not letting things that happened in the past hold us back."
More to come after practice. Practice starts at 7.45 at the Coliseum.
