It's been a little over a month since we broke the news of the new Hot Bird bar. Here's a quick follow-up with more photos of the space.
The Village Voice reported last week more details on Alan Harding's food truck are expected in a matter of weeks. Surely due to the high demand, rotisserie chickens are central on the menu, but there are also such wonderful trashy delights as Frito Pie and sausage of all types.
Given the location, at the nexus of Prospect Heights and Clinton Hill and a block away from the Fort Greene border, it's pretty safe to expect that this will be the hang out spot of the summer. So far, the crowds have born that out. Plentiful, but mellow, the hordes have not overrun Hot Bird, but it's rarely empty. The palates and equipment that had been sitting in the garden area has been cleared and the whole space feels more opened up.
See today's slideshow for a better look around the space.
