Two fashion festivals in Williamsburg on Saturday offer all around nightlife scene

A typical scene of the people in Williamsburg gone fashion show.

Fashion week hasn't quite left New York yet, it just got more eccentric and moved to Williamsburg.

The Brooklyn Fashion Festival and the Williamsburg Fashion Weekend both enter its grand finale shows  on Saturday, September 19, 2009.

The Brooklyn Fashion Festival will be held at the Knitting Factory's (561 Metropolitian bet. Roebling & Havermeyer) new digs on Metropolitian Ave. They'll be 8 designers there showing of their wares. Yep expect  performance art and of course music but don't expect to know how it'll be delivered. There could be trapeze artists, skateboarders even stilt walkers showing off the clothes in some utterly amusing and inventive way. Of course there will be room to dance later on and yes of course a full bar (it is a club/art space). tickets are $12.50 in advance and $17 at the door.

The Williamsburg Fashion Festival has native Brooklyn all female band Hard Nips supplying the music while more of the outrageous fashions of Williamsburg will be on full display. Here take a look for yourself of video from Friday night.

The best part of the Williamsburg show is that it is FREE if you RSVP at their website williamsburgfashionweekend.com.
If you can't get enough of outrageous fashion and designers from the burg or just want an entertaining show stop through. It'll be a hard scene to not enjoy with this cast of zany charaters, fashion and drinks if you just can't stand it anymore.
