Will Lindsey Lohan follow the earlier examples of Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor by converting to Judaism to adopt the faith of her partner? London's Daily Mail reports the actress is converting to Judaism to demonstrate her commitment to her Jewish girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Evidence of the actress' intentions was also seen in her Facebook status: "I'm converting." Lohan and Ronson were seen attending synagogue in London this past Shabbat where the latter's half-brother Joshua Ronson became a bar-mitzvah. Asked by a photographer while entering the shul if she is changing religions the 22 year old actress who was raised Roman Catholic on Long Island replied, "I'm trying." Lohan has been exploring Kabbalah for several years, so converting to Judaism is not completely out of the blue. Her father, recalling the actress' earlier exploration of Scientology thinks "it's just another phase," adding, "But either way, she's involving God in her life, and I'm happy about that."
