TV Guide Network documentary Sex on TV: from I Dream of Jeanie's belly button to Janet Jackson's jeweled breast...
Today's Kiss and Tell Report.
Last night the TV Guide Network, formerly known as the TV Guide Channel, debuted a new special called Sex On TV. The two-part show chronicled the history of sex and nudity on broadcast television through the ages. It was fun and frothy including such tidbits as the first televised interracial kiss which was on Star Trek between Captain Kirk and Lieutenant Uhura. Yummy.
The series was hosted by Brenda Strong, Mary Alice of Desperate Housewives and featured my buddy, comic Erica Watson. If you have any interest in sex or media this is worth watching just to relive the pseudo drama over Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" or the ridiculous fact that the word "pregnant" was too racy for the double bed comedy I Love Lucy. If you have no interest in sex or media then what are you doing reading my deliciously scandalous column?

Important side note; The TV Guide Network will also be showing reruns of ABC's Ugly Betty! Pure awesomeness.
