I find myself at the most deliciously scandalous places. Last night I attended a history of the condom event at the Museum of Sex in Manhattan. The new exhibit is called Rubbers: The Life, History and Struggle of the Condom and featured one of Adriana Bertini's gorgeous cocktail dresses made from 1200 condoms.
I've actually been to the Museum of Sex, nicknamed MOSEX, a couple of times before; once to read my essay "Slut" on tour for the book Dirty Words: A Literary Encyclopedia of Sex and another time with my Afrodite Superstar erotica film executive producer Candida Royalle.
The Rubbers exhibit and last night's soiree were sponsored by Trojan Condoms. You know our friends at Trojan, right? The thoughtful people who brought us a sweet little thing called the Trojan Vibrating Ring? Uh-huh. Trojan shared exciting news about Fire and Ice, their newest innovation. The good people at Trojan told us that their objective is to make condom sex feel even better than non-condom sex. Well alrighty then! Each guest left MOSEX with a box of Trojan Fire and Ice condoms to test at home.
