Looking for love on reality shows is big business. Singer Ray J Norwood was able to pimp two seasons of income from VH1 by "looking for love" and now stars in Family Business, a reality series co-starring his sister Brandy.
Elizabeth "Caviar" Ahmed brought a great deal of amusement to For the Love of Ray Jwhen she was eliminated from season 1 of the dating show for allegedly dating a sketchy character called Chicago Larry. Caviar is going by a new name these days. Caviar is now Bethany Benz, the latest star of a porn company called The Bang Bros Network. Previously she was known as a bikini model and music video dancer.
I thought that the current celebrity porn movement was to have a supposed disgruntled ex leak a sex tape a la Danielle Staub and Kendra Wilkinson or Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian before them. Then you hold a press conference, pretend to be aghast and then crawl away with a handful of cash and some semblance of pretend dignity.
Oh well.
I guess the road from Caviar to Bethany Benz wasn't a long one, pun intended. After all, a big part of Ray J's resume before the show was his sex tape with Kim Kardashian. Back in the days Robert Townsend used to say, "There's always work at the Post Office." One would think a gorgeous young woman fluent in Russian and English could find a job at the United Nations. I guess that maybe that doesn't offer the same resume shine in some circles as the Bang Bros Network.
